Good Morning Folks!

Today for our soups today we are making some Garden Vegetable and White Chili for your enjoyment. If that is not enough we have Banana Butterscotch and Green Onion Crème Cheese Muffins for you guys to enjoy. Of course we have our world-famous Cornbread as well.

A special thanks to Bob Brunson for giving an awesome presentation about World War II aircraft yesterday evening. We had a great crowd show up to listen to it as well.  Next week we will not be having Summer Enchanted because it will be July 4.

Again our thoughts and prayers go out to the many fire victims and hopefully we all can get some more rain.

Have a great and safe day.

Howdy!

Firstly, many thanks to the Firefighters of Colorado for saving lives and homes across the state.  And our thoughts and prayers go out to the over 32,000 evacuated from Colorado Springs since yesterday.

Today we're serving our Beef Stew as well as my personal favorite, Pumpkin Curry (don't forget to top it off with a spoonful of whipped cream!).  To go along with your soup we've got some awesome Apple Raisin Spice as well as Mandarin Orange Muffins.

Today is Wednesday, which only means one thing..... It's another Summer Enchanted Evening!  Tonight we've got Bob Brunson coming in to talk about the aircraft of World War II, so I know you'll want to be here if you're a history buff like I am.  Mr Brunson will start his presentation at 7pm, so come early to get a good seat and enjoy some tasty snacks from our expert cooks.

Hey There Ya'll!

Is your day getting a little hot and hectic?  Then come on up to the Baldpate to beat the summer heat and relax with the best view in town!  Today we're serving Corn Chowder and Red Chili, along with Bran Muffins and my favorite, our Feta Muffins. You better come and get some before I eat them all!

As I'm sure most of you know, one of the most special parts of the Baldpate is the plethora of Hummingbirds that live around our Inn.  I had always been curious about what particular kind they are, and luckily, yesterday we had a pair of bird enthusiasts dine with us.  They informed me that they saw both Ruby-Throated and Rufous Hummingbirds (Fun fact of the day for you!).  So keep an eye out the next time you're at the Baldpate and see if you can spot the difference!

It’s going to be another great day over here at the Baldpate Inn. Part of the reason why it will be such a great day is that our soups today are Beef Stew and Pumpkin Curry. Another part is the muffins are Buttermilk Bran and Lemon Blueberry and we will also be having our Cornbread all day.

If you would check out Estes Parks Newspaper today, you would find an article about the plays that are being shown at the Baldpate Inn this summer. We are all very excited about it and are looking forward to both of the plays that will be featured here.

Have a safe and wonderful day.

Hello, my name is Sara and I am the Hotel and Museum Manager , at the Baldpate Inn. Over the next couple of months, Lauren, the Museum Curator, and I will be working to supply you with more information about our Collections, Key Room and other related topics. As many of you may know, the legacy of the Baldpate Inn is most intriguing. We are inviting you all to join us as we continue to explore its depths.

If you are already friends of the Baldpate, next time you visit, you may notice we have done some rearranging in the Key Room. Speaking of Summer Enchanted Evenings, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 the Baldpate will welcome John Meissner of the Estes Park Archives, as the first speaker in our summer lecture series. He will present a talk on the history of the area surrounding the Baldpate. Mr. Meissner does a wonderful job reviving the past and inspiring audiences. You do not want to miss this opportunity to hear him speak.

Hello everyone,

Hopefully everyone’s Tuesday is going amazing but you know what would make things even better, a bowl of nice hot Beef Stew or Corn Chowder. Well you’re in luck because that is exactly what we have today over at the Baldpate Inn. To go along with these two delicious soups are Golden Sunshine and Trail Mix muffins. But wait you are thinking to yourself, isn’t there something else. You would be right. Our cooks are busy preparing our world-famous cornbread just for you guys.

It's getting to be the end of the week, which means that it's just about time to treat yourself to a slice of our world-famous pie!  Cherry or Rhubarb, Peach or Pecan, all are a perfect dessert to have after our Soup and Salad Buffet or even just as an afternoon snack.  Speaking of our buffet, make sure you come by today to try our Potato Leek or hearty Beef Stew.  I know I'm always up for a big bowl of soup and a piece of cornbread!

Today the cooks are preparing some yummy Cowboy Buffalo and some delicious Broccoli and Cheese soups. Along with these soups, we have our muffins which are Pumpkin and Onion Garlic, both of which sounds delicious. You guys cannot forget our cornbread either.

Yesterday John Meissner, from the Estes Park Archives, came and visited the staff to tell us more about the history of the Baldpate Inn. We are now ready for any question you might throw our way about the history of the Baldpate Inn. Also you might have seen some of us down in Estes Park in our uniforms, running from place to place and taking pictures. The staff is participating in a scavenger hunt around town and it will be going on around town. It seems like a close race between the teams but I’m hoping my team can pull out the win.
As always have a wonderful day and come for a visit here at the Baldpate Inn.

Following Dan’s lead, let me tell you all about myself. I’m Tate. I currently live in the Twin Cities, Minnesota but attend college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Even though I live in Minnesota, I love all of Wisconsin’s sport teams especially the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. I only have one semester left at college and I am already looking forward to being done. I will be graduating with a business degree in management and a marketing. The Baldpate Inn is a great place to work and has become my home away from home. I look forward to meeting all of you over the course of the next couple months.
